rnblocks

Ownership & licensing

You own the code you download and generate. Use it however you need, commercially, for clients, in apps you publish.

You own the code

Code you download from the RNBlocks screen library or generate with Playground and Studio is yours. RNBlocks does not claim ownership over downloaded or AI-generated code.

There is no attribution requirement, you do not need to credit RNBlocks in your app or codebase.

What you can do

  • Use screens in personal projects
  • Use screens in client work, build apps for clients using RNBlocks screens
  • Include screens in apps you publish on the App Store or Google Play
  • Include screens in apps you sell or license to other businesses
  • Modify, adapt, and extend any downloaded or generated screen however you like

What you cannot do

  • Resell or redistribute the raw screen source files as a screen library, template pack, or component kit
  • Republish the screens on other platforms claiming them as your own original templates

In short: build products with the screens freely, but do not redistribute the screens themselves as a product.

Is RNBlocks open source?

No. RNBlocks is a commercial product. The screens you download are yours to use in your projects under the license terms above, but the RNBlocks platform itself is not open source.

AI-generated code and ownership

Code generated by Playground or Studio is treated the same as downloaded screen code, you own it and can use it commercially. The AI generates it based on your prompt; it is your output.

As with any AI-generated code, review it before publishing in a production or commercial product.
