# Set up automatic credit reloads

> Choose an RNBlocks credit threshold and top-up pack, save or change your preference, and turn auto-reload off.

Auto-reload is an optional way to purchase another credit pack when recorded usage takes your balance below the threshold you choose. It is off until you enable and save it.

## Before you start

- An active Pro or Studio subscription.
- A saved payment method and auto-reload availability shown in your account.

## Choose when and how much to reload

Section: https://www.rnblocks.dev/docs/auto-reload#enable

1. **Open Credits** — Open Profile → Transaction history in the Credits section, then find Auto-reload.

2. **Turn on and choose a threshold** — Set the credit balance that should trigger a reload. The initial value is 20 credits; choose a value from 1 to 1,000 that suits your use.

3. **Choose a pack** — Select 50 credits for $5, 150 for $15 or 350 for $30. This is the amount purchased each time a reload succeeds.

4. **Save your choice** — Select Save and check the saved summary. Turning on the switch without saving the form does not finish setup.

### Figure: Set the threshold and reload amount

Auto-reload settings in edit mode. Reload when balance drops below is set to 20 credits. The choices are 50 credits for $5, 150 for $15 and 350 for $30. Save and Cancel are below the pack choices.

1. Set the balance that should trigger a reload.
2. Choose the pack purchased each time.
3. Select Save to apply your settings, or Cancel to keep the existing settings.

Example: a 20-credit threshold with the 150-credit pack selected.

## A threshold is not a spending limit

Section: https://www.rnblocks.dev/docs/auto-reload#trigger

Auto-reload can make repeated purchases as credits are used. The threshold controls when to buy; the pack controls the amount bought. It is not a monthly budget cap.

Pending credits reduce what you can use while work is in progress. That temporary hold alone does not trigger a reload; the purchase check uses recorded spending.

> **Example**
> A 20-credit threshold with a 150-credit pack means a reload adds 150 credits for $15. It does not mean spending is limited to $15 per month.

## Change or turn it off

Section: https://www.rnblocks.dev/docs/auto-reload#change

Use **Edit** to change the saved threshold or pack, then save again. Switch auto-reload **Off** to stop future automatic purchases. Check that the saved state updates; do not assume a failed save changed the preference.

Turning it off is not a refund for a purchase already processed. Review your credits and receipt if a payment was already in progress.

## If it does not reload

Section: https://www.rnblocks.dev/docs/auto-reload#recover

- Check the saved preference, active subscription and payment method.
- Read an unavailable or payment-error message before repeatedly retrying.
- A saved preference does not guarantee the payment service is currently available.
- Check usage and receipts before making another manual purchase. Contact support if a completed payment has not added credits.
